In January this year we decided to focus on three things:
1. Positive Psychology….and how to operationalise it in our business
2. Strengths…. understanding what will take us towards success or near perfect performance and recognising this in candidates
3. Growth….4 new practice areas to build and broaden our client services
Dr Paige Williams, from the Centre for Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne, has consulted with us throughout this year and is running our Positive Psychology and Strengths programme which is having a remarkable effect on our team and she is helping to operationalise the strengths based approaches into our candidate screening tools.
Earlier this year two highly experienced Partners joined us to develop a Consumer Goods practice. Both Marc Kramers and Matt Drewell are working with globally recognised clients in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, commercial and digital transformation.
Finance…. later this month a Partner joins us to concentrate on CFO, FD and senior Finance roles across our client portfolio
All of our clients are embracing some form of technology or digital transformation – from the smallest infrastructure changes to Industry 4.0, the next industrial revolution. We have advised and worked on numerous assignments in this area and will focus this into a new practice.
I am delighted to welcome David Atkins to BarrettClark Executive Search who will be heading up our Technology & IT Services Practice. David has more than 20 years’ experience in UK and European Executive Search exclusively within the Technology & IT arena. He has a strong track record and depth of knowledge that enables him to advise consumer and commercial clients on their digital, technology and IT leadership. David has successfully completed searches for CIOs, IT Directors, Programme Directors and Heads of Architecture at leading Corporates, Technology Vendors and Consultancies.
