Simon founded BarrettClark Executive Search in 2001. Active in all areas of the business, he particularly enjoys working with clients to solve a challenging search and has advised clients and led searches at board and executive level across the breadth of the international leisure, hospitality, events and consumer sector.
It’s not what we do at BarrettClark Executive search or how we deliver outstanding services it’s the “why” that fascinates Simon. We solve problems and discover candidates in such a way that we get a real kick when a client makes their choice. We take pride in our track record and actively cultivate a fantastic reputation. We love getting to know people and building great relationships and we have a real zest for learning.

There is no such thing as spare time for Simon because he fills it with family and friends, enjoying fine dining, skiing, out on the water on boats or as crew on racing yachts. He is also a volunteer business mentor for The Prince’s Trust.
After completing his Bar Finals Neale joined a Lloyds underwriting syndicate, writing commercial retail insurances, he then moved to broking house Willis as a senior manager with responsibility for a portfolio of international leisure accounts.
Drawing on his retail and leisure market knowledge Neale joined executive search specialists Tiro, quickly establishing an impressive track record of completing senior executive and board level appointments across a range of disciplines and roles.
In November 2002 Neale along with Gary Buckley and another Director bought the business to create Duncannon Executive Search Ltd, heading up the leisure, hospitality and travel practices. With the merger of the two firms he is looking forward to helping broaden the fields in which he works and being able to offer clients a more seamless search service at both board and senior management levels.
Neale lives in central London with his family, loves to travel, take in new cultures and experiences and one day aims to live part of the year in Rome where he can discover more about what made the Roman empire so successful and long-lasting. He’s an obsessive cricket fan and occasionally finds to time to trek in obscure and adventurous places.
Harry’s career started in five-star hotel operations followed by a number of hospitality roles in the UK and Europe. While at Compass Group he worked in the UK resourcing team on hiring key leaders into their business before taking on an operational role at their key KPMG contract.
Harry engages with talent and supports those candidates throughout their career journey. Harry uses his wealth of broad experience to ensure that client briefings are translated into an effective search strategy, providing data and insight during the process to reach great search outcomes. Harry gets a lot of satisfaction in providing high levels of service and support to both clients and candidates.
Harry’s top strengths enable him to perform at his best in this particular role. He treats everyone with consistency, is adaptable and has an instinctive ability to understand – and is particularly talented in empathy.
Harry lives near Taunton and if you talk to him, you will definitely pick up on his keen interest in food & drink, sport – and in particular cricket, which his son excels at.
Olivia is the newest addition to the team with an exciting array of project management and operations experience behind her. She spent 4 years as operations manager for a leading British skincare brand which has left her well equipped to deal with multiple projects, people and deadlines at a time.
Olivia’s top talent theme has been identified using the Gallup Clifton Strengths Finder as woo which stands for winning others over alongside communication meaning she is excellent at inspiring teams into action and making things happen. A London native, Olivia now splits her time between working and socialising in the city and her new home in picturesque rural Somerset. Olivia is a keen runner and aims to finish the London Marathon one day.
Moira’s career began in executive search before moving into a more traditional human resources Career path. She has held senior management level positions across several industries providing her with experience and the ability to translate our client requirements into effective search strategies.
Moira’s career in human resources enables her to provide a high level of service, ensuring that consistency and understanding is clear for both her clients and candidates. She has worked with Duncannon Search and now BCD Search on a project basis for over 8 years and has extensive knowledge of the leisure, hospitality, retail and travel sectors. Her experience of working on executive search from both sides of the fence, and her experience of having led HR functions means that she is ideally placed to support senior level searches.
Moira lives in London and is a keen cook, loves to travel and a huge rugby fan.
